The Recruiter/HR Generalist will work with the CFO and Controller to manage our recruitment and basic Human Resources processes. Recruitment is a primary focus in this role to ensure our stores are fully staffed. This role will also be instrumental in evolving our onboarding, offboarding and new associate orientation processes. As an added learning and growth opportunity, the Recruiter/HR Generalist will learn and participate in accounting functions as time permits. The ideal candidate will have prior recruiting and HR Generalist experience.

Plumbing Department Lead

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Plumbing Department Associate to
join our team. The Plumbing Department Associate will assist customers in finding
the right plumbing products, provide product knowledge, answer inquiries, and
support them throughout their purchase journey. This position requires a deep
understanding of plumbing products, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for
delivering exceptional customer service. They will also assist management with
daily store operations and supervision of co-workers.

Fishing and Sporting Goods Associate
FULL-TIME
This role is perfect for an outdoor lover, interested in our local sporting activities and the products it takes to get out there and enjoy this beautiful place we live in! We focus on all outdoor activities and are looking for an avid angler or hobbyist who is familiar with fly and bait fishing products, techniques, styles, and general knowledge of sporting goods. You'll focus on the maintenance of products and services for the Fishing and Sporting Goods departments with an emphasis on customer assistance and sales.

displays throughout all departments.

Paint and Stain Associate
FULL-TIME
This job will keep you active and engaged throughout the day, greeting, and
assisting customers with Paint & Stain questions, and helping them with paint
mixing and matching. You’ll be trained in how to mix different paint colors along with different paint and stain applications and processes. The painting season is heating up and the department has a nice customer service buzz. The ideal candidate will have paint & stain experience. Customer service and or retail experience is a plus.

Building Materials & Shed Associate
FULL-TIME
If working outside and being active is your ideal work environment this could be the position for you. As a Building Materials/Shed Associate you will help customers load building materials, assist with propane fills and perform cuts of wood and other materials for customers. Additionally, you’ll assemble BBQ’s, patio furniture, snow blowers and other items. This position is an active one – you’ll be on your feet all day, lift heavy items and operate a forklift. Our Shed Associates do all the “heavy Lifting” so to speak in our operation ensuring that our customers are efficiently served and that our shed and outside premises are organized and sharp. The ideal candidate is up for some hard work, enjoys being active and is looking for a year-round, full-time position. Our Building Materials/Shed team is a fun bunch!

Inventory Coordinator
FULL-TIME
The Inventory Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our Mountain Hardware store. This position is responsible for overseeing the inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels while meeting customer demands and business objectives. Inventory Coordinators stock and count supplies and report any differences between the actual count and the stock levels in company records. They identify damaged, returned or mis-ordered inventory and fill out the appropriate paperwork for inventory write-offs.

Clothing/Footwear Associate
FULL-TIME
Mountain Hardware and Sports is more than a hardware store, we are a Mercantile, which is what creates the magical shopping experience we offer our customers. Greet and assist all guests of Mountain Hardware and Sports connecting them to the proper product and/or service. Maintain stock and organization of clothing and footwear departments both on the retail floor and in backstock areas. Assists guests with selections for proper fitting of products within the department.

If you like assembling and building things, this is a fun and flexible opportunity.
